egads-thanks. It was driving me nuts, also. it was my word and I found it in the dictionary. When Astrid mention " how do you put it in a sentence" I was stumped. That's one reason I enjoy these word games so much. It's so much fun to challenge our brains.

Astrid, that works! The only use I could think of was - 'your constant insistences are demanding and controlling'. Btw, luv the word bamboozled...rolls off the tongue nicely.

Ceanna, I think your sentence works well too. I also read that it was obsolete, with the exception of Britain. How does one write with a Brit accent? )
