Anyone else keep banging into them??
I keep getting little bruises, especially on my left side, where I must be banging into them but can't feel it. I wear unlined pullover bras which feel the best. Wondering if anyone else experiences this? Hoping that my awareness of their projection over time will prevent this

Oh Lovely you made me laugh out loud this morning! My Acupuncturist and I joke about how we could accidentally slam our foobs in a door and not have a clue.
It is pretty strange. Hoping I figure it out too one of these days.

me! I still have the expanders and bumped into everything with them

I have! And it's weird when I go outside and run or hike with my dog and it's cold out, my boobs stay cold afterward for a while, like someone taped cold packs to my chest

Dovely that's so funny cuz I had the same problem, especially with the expander. After I had the l.d. flap reconstruction and relocated the implant over the pectoral muscle, it felt more natural, but still took getting used to. I too wear only soft bras or sports bras. You will get used to it😄

Ladies,
I don’t have implants but I do have DIEP FLap reconstruction in both breasts which are much larger than my real breasts...not my choice but my PS’s choice! I don’t bang into them so much but a few months ago I was vacuuming and I got my feet twisted in the cord. Down I went on a tile floor face first. It was like slow motion...there wasn’t anything to stop the fall so as I was going down my mind was racing...what can I protect??? Hands, arms, face😳, knees? My husband was flipping out! I just laid there to take inventory of the damage I just brought on my self. I told my husband...dont’t help me, let see if I am hurt. After I got up I was ok. My husband is looking at me in shock! He said, “honey, I think your boobs cushioned your fall!” 😂😂😂. He was right...next day the only bruises were on my boobs...but no harm done.

I have found that I need to watch how hot the shower is because I don't realize it on my breasts. I sometimes come out and they are quite red, but of course, no discomfort. I have also bumped into things, but it's all part of this new normal. I'm just happy to be here regardless.
