Frequency of MRI's

Is it safe to have spine MRI and then just 1 month later, a brain MRI? Medical oncologist says yes, is OK. but she is not a radiologist. Also this is a small community based practice, not an academic based one. Thanks!

I've had multiple MRIs in the same day. It seems ok to me. ... although I'm not a radiologist either. and I am at a large research hospital

Drink lots of water after to help your kidneys wash out the contrast agent.

Sure. The only radiation involved is in the contrast. As ShetlandPony says, drink a lot of water.
