Yay thanks Astrid I love series tips. We live on an island and most people can't get streaming. I buy DVDs for our library (volunteer) so need ideas. Good series get us through those winter nights (along with word games 🙂)

Magic, we don't have that channel you mentioned here in Oz. I go through Foxtel for BBC. Tried Prime but it is annoying cos I can't chromecast it so have to mirrorlink which means jumping to the computer in another room if I need to pause! Bleh.

DearLife, with the DVDs you buy, do you buy continuing tv series? Some US tv programs are really good but I wonder how they play in other countries. I've been watching some of the later seasons (ran from 2009 to 2016) of Castle recently and found it to be different and better than earlier seasons. It's a comedy crime drama?!! Yes Ceanna I buy series and we don't have Castle. Great suggestion! I will look for the others too. We love BBC, European and Australian series but they aren't always available in the video format used in North America (NTSC).
