    I had to look that one up! Apparently CD138 staining shows up in about 75% of IDCs. Where the staining is located (membrane vs cytoplasm) may be prognostic for breast cancer aggressiveness. It is also measured to see if patient is a candidate for immunotargeted treatment with indatuximab ravtansine, a drug primarily used in the treatment of myeloma. It is curious why your doc it.
