Rocky is such a cutie and getting me into the holiday spirit! Jingle bells...
MLanne I think you might be right actually- Tucker IS small for a border collie, and well he and Dobby clearly have the belly rub position down pat. 😜
Mommyof2 we called my mother-in-law’s Australian shephard mix Brandi “Wigglebutt”! It was just that waddle as she walked.
Well it’s late, time to get some Zzzzzs... Domino is giving me the “let’s go to bed already” look..
-
I call mine Snickerdoodle and Pumpernickel. I figure you are truly loved if you earn nicknames !
-
Such cute nicknames! Ours are less creative...
Domino is honestly Domino, it’s so fitting. Sometimes we call her Mo or Momo or The Mo. at the hospital they called her The Domino Effect! Occasionally I call her Little Wolf.
Tucker is Tuck or Tuck Tuck (see how non-creative we are) although I sometimes call him any Wolf Protector.
Kit Kat is the one we had the most nicknames for. Along with Kitty and Kitty Cat (she would act like a kitty cat!), we also called her Little Bear Cub and Little One. Because she was the little one in our paw family!
-
Aussies don’t usually have a tail to wag, so the whole butt goes into overdrive.
-
This was a few years ago, so Pippin and Dobby were a little younger than they are now. And at the moment we have no snow on the ground, so it really doesn't feel like Christmas.
-
mlanne-pippy and dobin are beautiful. The card of them and their younger days was outstanding.
Pebbles- I got my Domino fix. Thank you
-

Rut Roh!
-
micmel-naughty deeohgee. Cute.
Lucy- I can relate. When I'm scolding my dogs for bad behavior I swear they look straight at the cats as if to say not me Mom it was the cat(s).
-
Micmel, I'm laughing so hard at the meme you made of your dog! I hope he's ok. I guess it's pretty common for dogs to get into that sort of thing. My dog, Dart, looks a lot like yours.
-
lol I totally agree he certainly my Goodness he certainly Does. Does he have any walker coonhound in him? Deeohgee is pure bread coonhound. He howls like crazy and has energy that amazes me at ten. He is a loyal funny dog! He is just fine. After that happened he helped himself to a Whitman's chocolate smaller wrapped in foil. Now our yard has unintentional decorations. Of colored foil for our viewing delight!
-
Micmel, Dart is a rescue, but must have a lot of coonhound in him. He's super sweet and funny. He has various vocalizations, but doesn't howl. His bark is deep and loud like a Rottweiler. When I tell him to be quiet, he whisper barks. He's hilarious. I was lucky to get him. I'm glad to read your Deeohgee is in the holiday spirit! Nice of him to decorate the yard for you. I have to keep ALL food items out of Dart's reach, that includes the cat boxes.
