Having a hard time with side effects

Thank you for this forum. I start my third round of chemo tomorrow. Having flu-like symptoms since they upped the chemo. Getting more tired. Random itching. Because I am so fair skinned, my face it ruddy, hot and rashy.  To be frank, I am a hot mess. I am hoping I can cope with these side effects. Other side effects are UTI, pains at night around stomach area. Coughing, crusty eyes. So far, it's all doable but I am concerned that it will become much worse. I hope not.

Also, my sister is going through a different kind of cancer and she says her bald head is starting to hurt. Any remedies for this. I just got my hair cut into a pixie.

Thanks for any replies. All the people going through this are my new heroes. I feel wimpy when I hear all of your courageous stories.

I am very blessed to find this site.

Talk to your MO, s/he has a pharmacy full of meds to help you get through this.

    You can do it😎😎

If the doc is not worried about any of those sx, then consider whether you really want to medicate them all. Ask about natural remedies such as diet and drink adjustments. Perhaps see if you can put up with some of the milder sx, so as to not have to take too many meds.

At least, this is what worked for me, and it gave me peace of mind and even saved me and the insurance co. thousands of bucks...

I told myself that the sx were reminders that I was protecting my body from an excess of drugs!

Congrats on being almost done with 3. After tomorrow, how many more?

    Best wishes.
