crawfish- I knew we were Kindred Spirits. I have six dogs and three cats. I have enjoyed your doggie pics on the other thread. These pics are fantastic. My cats get along just fine with the dogs. Except for my one old cat she likes being around the low energy dogs. The young cats have a ball with my dogs. They sleep, eat and play together. But your pictures are so great. It's hard not to smile when you're looking at them.

I have one Sheltie and two cats.
This is Jackson, my Sheltie.
Here are his “sisters” Princess and Grace. Princess is the black cat and Grace is the grey Tabby kitten.
The cat in my avatar was my oldest “child” Charcoal. He died from kidney failure in 2014.

Mommyof2- I love the pictures of your cats and Sheltie . For the most part, My cats and dogs get along great . My cats aren't happy when my dogs try to take their food. The cats always win. My dog's weigh from 8 lb to 65 lb but the cats always wins the Battle over food
-
We just adopted Grace, so we are dealing with Princess and Jackson being a bit jealous and bossy. It seems like Jackson is adjusting to the kitten a bit better than Princess. Think it’s going to take a few more days or into next week to finally have peace between them all.

This is my 2 year old Heddy. She is still nervous when strangers come to the house but she is great with my other dogs and cats.
-
She's beautiful. I just love tuxedo's.
-
I'm stretched out on the bed with my two cats and two dogs. We finally moved from the fireplace to the bedroom. It is 60 degrees and chilly. The larger and Harrier dogs are loving this cooler weather.
-
What a happy family! Thanks for sharing.
-
jo6359 where do you sleep? Looks pretty crowded (but cozy)
-
rah-when it is time for me to sleep, the cats are put in the living room. So, its me and the 3 little dogs. I downsized from a King bed to a Queen in July. Im still adjusting to a smaller space.
-
Oh, wellthese two are adorable!

Click on the little rectangular icon that looks like it has two mountains in it. As you scroll over it you should see the "insert image" text. Its in the header at the top of you dialogue box where you type.

This is my 9 year old dog Pierre. He loves to go for rides. He isn't too happy when the ride ends and he has to get out of the car.
-
My 13 year old fur baby Princess. This is her perch to watch us make meals, She loves food.
-
it is so funny how dogs find their little perches to observe what is important to them. Food!!!
-
This is Toby the dog and Flynn the cat in 2015 in the first pic. Next is a recent one!
-
I love the pictures of Toby and Flynn.
-
jo - they are best buds! Toby was a new puppy in our house with an older Siamese named Simon so he learned very quickly who the alpha was, and what cats were about. Simon lived to be 17, but we had no cat for about 5 years after he passed away. My daughter was a dog trainer in a retail store during college and on occasion fostered kittens that people brought in or abandoned, usually for a short time until a more permanent situation could be found for them. Toby was always very loving and concerned about these tiny cats, and he is very accepting of our bird, and pretty much any other animal. I finally felt ready for a cat again, so my husband and daughter conspired to get Flynn as a Christmas surprise for me, and he fit right in immediately!
-
specialk-what a wonderful story. There is so much we can learn for our animals if we just open our eyes and our hearts.
-
Both are so adorable and even more so, together!
