Reoccurring rash

Last year I went to my NP due to a HORRIBLE itchy rash on my breast. Not under my breast but on the lower part. There was no pitting or texture issues, just a red raised rash. She ordered a mammogram due to it only being one breast. Mammogram was normal.

Well, it’s back, on the same breast and with a vengeance. Started on the top this time, then moved to the whole outside part of breast. My nipple has become sensitive and I get an achy feeling in that breast every once in awhile. My main concern is that within the rash, I now have a sharpie point size perfectly round purple circle and a vein that just seemed to appear. Again, no pitting, just the raised rash. I put fungal powder on breast and it was then I noticed ridged lines on it.

I do take Reglan for IBS and my nipples discharge a milky substance when squeezed, which is common with Reglan.

I am a 38 year old woman, I have a 19 year old son and 7 year old son. I have had a hysterectomy 5 years ago to remove an enlarged uterus and an ovary covered in cysts.

I really want to post a pic but I know that isn’t allowed.

Any input?

I do have a history of patches of eczema, so I have a steroid cream I tried using for a few weeks with no success. It was then I switched to the fungal powder that I have been using for a couple week, no success. This does not appear as my normal eczema patches that usually occur on my legs and lower back.

I’d check in with my dermatologist

    Hi there, TheRightAlice-

We agree with MelissaDallas about checking in with your dermatologist, and perhaps scheduling an appointment with your general doctor or OBGYN to have them take a look. We know it can be hard not to worry, but there could be any number of explanations for what you're experiencing! Please keep us posted on what you find out.
