    814911, I feel your pain...literally. In 10/2017, the day before my last Herceptin treatment, I broke a tooth and had to have it extracted. I just replaced it with an implant in 8/2018. In 10/2018, I broke another tooth. That tooth also has to be extracted and an implant done. I put it off until 01/2019 because I wanted to enjoy the holidays. (Both teeth already had crowns and root canals from many years ago.)

    I don't know if my recent problems are caused by chemo, but I wonder. My gums are healthy but my teeth seem brittle. I have very small teeth and their petite size makes them more prone to breakage/damage.

    Hi,

    I know that a flouride rinse will help slow the progress of tooth decay and will help strengthen the rest of your teeth. Hopefully this will help.
