edited December 2018 in Not Diagnosed But Worried

my symptoms began in september, I noticed a small spot on L breast which looked like a bug bite, it was really itchy but i thought nothing of it, it went away.

October comes and again i notice in a different area a small raised itchy spot which looked like a bug bite. Again hoped it was nothing but was concerned as this was the second time so I scheduled a physician apt

Finally again november it happens again! Followed by 2 weeks of intense breast pain, ive never experience breast pain. I went to see my physician who was more concerned about the lumpiness and breast pain and she scheduled me an ultrasound

I went for my ultrasound and she called and said it did not show anything concerning, fibrous tissue ect.

So now december comes and yet again another small red spot appears in a new place. It is not itchy this time though.

I havnt had any changes in breasts in terms of size, no redness other then the small bite marks which fade and are about 1cm

Should i contact my physician to see if they looked at thickening and signs of IBC in ultrasound or do I assume they look for this type of cancer on all ultrasounds?

I am still stressing

I had similar symptoms during my post-menopausal period (between 54 and 56 years of age) accompanied by a sudden very unhealthy lifestyle and a foolish 6-year interval from my annual mammo and u/s screenings...  So, when last June (2018), after having made all the healthy resolutions for my body and started dieting, quitting alcohol and getting regular exercise I went for a mammo and u/s, the images revealed a small but very suspicious mass deep in my right breast at 7.00 o'clock position attached to my pectoral muscle...  One of the bug-bite-like spots I had noticed couple of years before was located at 7.00 o'clock...  Long story short, I underwent every possible breast imaging test and a lumpectomy operation and, thankfully, the histology came back benign (adenosis, non-atypical ductal epithelial hyperplasia, etc) which, however, as my breast surgeon explained, would have progressed to some sort of carcinoma if it had gone undetected and/or been left untreated for a little bit longer.  My surgeon never associated the aforementioned mass with the incidents of breast skin rashes I experienced in the past 2 years as long as there was no nipple discharge involved (there wasn't one) but, as you know, every case is unique when it comes to breast health issues.  I believe you'll be just fine if you follow your doctors' advice and recommendations and never skip your regular image screenings ;)

PS btw, from what I read here, IBC doesn't normally show in u/s and it has the tendency to progress rapidly, not the kind of a rash coming and then fading, but I'm not a doctor myself...

I am only 29 so other then having physicals there isn't any regular screaning I have. I was under the impression usually they use an ultrasound for IBC so see changes in the thickening of breast tissue? But I could be wrong
