Hellou, does any of you ladies has experience with pancreatic cyst while beiing BRCA2 positive? I had it discovered accidentally on MRI for liver, where I had resection of metastasis year ago. Liver is clean but they found small cyst - 1 cm on the tail of pancreas. CT comfirmed cyst. They want to monitor it, but I BRCA2 mutation scares me since it is also associated with pancreatic cancer. No one in my family had any of the BRCA2 associated cancers and I have mutated different part of the gene as it is given in association with disease but according prediction software it is probably patogenic mutation. Thank you so much for any of responses

    Hi Maaaki,

Sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like you want the cyst removed not monitored due to your BRAC2 gene mutation. I would let the doctors know that just watching it isn't good enough. I'm also BRAC2 and would worry if something like that was found and want it out. Do you have a return appointment with your doctor?
