Help! I wanted to see if there were others out there that were dealing with terrible acne during treatment. I also have a terrible rash on my chest and head. Any suggestions? I am on TC and have had 2 treatments so far.

Thanks so much. Any advice would be so very helpful as this is so frustrating. Not having hair is one thing but then a terrible broken out face on top of not having hair makes me not want to go in public! Thanks so much for any help!

Hi. I also have been breaking out since starting chemo. One of the nurses mentioned it is probably from the steroids. I hate it. I also have a rash on my chest. I have just been using spot treatment on the acne and trying to keep the rest of my skin moisturized. The rash does not its when I stay on top of moisturizing. I use a sesame seed oil that works well, but the oil kind of gets everywhere. I also use a coconut body butter that works great. Hope this helps

so I had terrible acne during chemo. It is because of the steroids. Go see a dermatologist. They can prescribe Retin A. Helps 100%. He or she may have to write a letter to insurance to have it covered.

    hi ladies

Talk to your onco. Mine gave me Cleocin lotion for the duration of TC chemo. Cleared everything up. Good luck to you. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

    Hugs!
