edited November 2018 in Not Diagnosed But Worried

Hello

I will admit I worry over everything health related and am fairly conscious of any changed in my body.

A month ago while at work i started to get an itch on my L breast. It was a small raised spot looked like a small bug bite. Other then it being itchy I thought nothing of it. Until i googled bug bite on breast. It slowly faded and itchiness went away. I had a dr apt and was going to mention it but figured it cleared up so no worries. 1 month later last night I was watching tv and kinda suddenly felt something. Sure enough I look and in another area on my L breast again was a small red spot almost like a bite and super itchy. If it were on the other breast I wouldn't be so worried. I did have a similar spot like an itchy bug bite appear on my hip a week before the first one. The last one the itchyness and redness/small spot completely went away. No redness. No swelling/changes in skin. No lymph node changes.

Any input would help

I'm prepared to say, categorically, that you don't have IBC. But do see your doc if you remain worried about your symptoms.

IBC is rare but it can happen. If you’re really worried I would go see a dermatologist and ask for a skin punch biopsy despite what they think of your symptoms.Say you’re worried about IBC. If it is it’s good you caught it as soon as possible, if it isn’t GREAT at least you made sure. Hope it’s nothing!! I’ve heard too many stories about people who eventually get diagnosed with IBC not being taken seriously.

Sadly I am in Canada and seeing a dermatologist is not an easy process, months wait and referrals are required.

I have an apt with my physician/nurse practitioner next week. I had an apt last month and was going to mention it but all the symptoms had resolved. They literally reappeared exact same time this month which is kinda odd. I am little less worried since its coming and going and seems from what Ive read a lot of IBC is progressive and fairly quickly. This has been going on for 2 months and the mark from 3 days ago is almost gone and itching has decreased. The small mark with itchy like a bug bite specific to the spot has been really my only symptom. just figured good to get it checked out.
