Hey everyone! I might be judging on this way too soon, but I am about 2weeks out from UMX with direct to implant. I just got my dressing off yesterday and I look uneven in size. I expected a difference in perkiness but when I look in the mirror while in my post op camisole I look uneven size wise. I am wondering if there is a product like a breast form but not as bulky just to make up the difference? I knew going in it was going to be a challenge to match.

This link is from TLC Direct and is for lumpectomy and reconstruction forms that augment to allow for more even matching. I liked the cotton pockets with the fluff that you could add or subtract because they are so light and customizable. Good luck!

Yes! There is, I had the same problem , especially after I had radiation on my reconstruction side, the skin tightened up and kind of shrunk it more. The tic catalogue, tlcdirect.org, phone#800 850 9445 has just what you need. What I got is called molded hollow back triangle shell. It's thicker than the pads that come in a sports bra, but not as thick as a breast form. Really made just for your situation. It worked perfectly, to even out the discrepancy. Check it out. The catalogue is put out by American Cancer Society, has many useful things.

Well my experience...after I let myself heal (months not weeks), a good underwire bra fitted at Nordstrom's evened out my UMX. There is still a slight difference, but not very noticeable.  I hadn't wore an underwire in over 20 years, but now with a year of time, underwire bras are my normal.TT
