Putting my breast cancer aside, my gynecologist said no to estrogen cream because I had had a TIA.

I'm not sure if you have made a decision yet in regards to the chemo question or not, but I'm wondering (as this helped for me in deciding my own chemo path) have you had a Mammoprint test run?
I see you had the KI-67 run, mine was lower than 30%. My MammoP confirmed there would be little benefit for me w/chemo.
For me, having those two tests confirm what my Oncotype (17) test told me helped me have peace with being able to skip chemo and not kick myself 10 years out or so if something, heaven forbid, recurs.
Quality of life is so very important to me, and I can relate with your struggle in seeing the chemo benefit percentages your MO gave you, it would be a hard decision to make. Especially because like you say, sometimes those SEs turn out to be permanent. I'm sorry you are here but I am hopeful whatever decision you choose, that you will have peace knowing you did what is best for YOU. That is most important IMO. Even if you choose chemo, the crappy thing is it's not a guarantee. Le Sigh.
This journey is so hard. Gentle hugs.

Hi ladies
I'm in my 40s. Have been on tamoxifen since April 2017 and zoladex shots since dec 2016. I am in menopause - because of chemo, and sustained by zoladex. Getting my ovaries out because the shots hurt... As far as vaginal health is concerned, it took me a year to finally ask for an onco gyno nurse apt. She is the one who told me about this gel - not estrogen based. Even my own obgyn didn't know about this, she took the name down to refer other patients . She was surprised at the notable improvement of the vaginal tissue, and the exam wasn't as painful as before the gel Some of my bc survivor friends started using it too.
