Inverted nipple

Options

Tuesday I had a mammo and ultrasound in both breats. Mammo is not the best imagining for me due to high breast density but both tests came back normal and breast surgeon did a breast exam as well.

Thursday I had an appt. with RO for yearly check-up - I have some radiation damage in a lymph node on left. His intern noticed my right nipple and was concerned. I barely glanced down at it and told her it is probably fine. RO never saw right breast. When I got home I looked at the right breast and the nipple was inverted. Never seen that before.

I have to admit I usually don't do self examinations - I had a very fast growing tumor so I thought I'd know for sure if anything went wrong again.

Is it possible that a mamo caused some inflammation that would pull the nipple? I have small breasts and no body fat so everything is visible.

My husband wanted me to call back surgeon but while I am worried, I don't want to appear like a hypochondriac. There is no rash or pain. I do have lots of cysts as well in both breasts.

Would any of you call back the surgeon after a clear mamo and ultrasound just days ago?
