Prayers for Sandra (6packsan)

Sandra was first diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago…nothing serious, just your typical IDC. Last spring, two years after the initial diagnosis, she found out she had mets in her lungs and liver; a few weeks ago after completing a six-month chemo regimen for the mets, she started feeling dizzy and nauseated, and discovered it had spread to her brain. She is now undergoing brain radiation.

Sandra is a young widow and single mom living in Ontario. She has two boys, 12 and 9. She wasn’t ready for this; she had hoped that at least she would have more time to raise her boys. She knows that no one can love them as much as she does.

Sandra needs our prayers, our positive thoughts, and whatever we can do to spiritually strengthen her and help her get through this…I am praying for full recovery.

Dear God in Heaven,
Please look down with mercy upon your dear servant Sandra
Comfort her with a sense of your goodness,
By the might of your command and power of your love
Drive away all sickness and infirmity,
Heal her in body and spirit.
Restore to her your gifts of gladness and strength
That she may continue to love and nurture her two wonderful boys.
Hear us, we pray, and give her a sign that all is well,
By the Spirit of Love that comes from you and dwells within us.
