Tamoxifen brands

Options

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and hoping to learn from other peoples knowledge and experience.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 in the UK.  After surgery, chemo and radiotherapy I was prescribed tamoxifen for 10 years.  The first brand I tried was horrendous and I was convinced the cancer was in my bones.  The second one I was given was awesome...  Yes, there were side effects but nothing I couldn't handle.

This year myself and hubby moved to Canada and I brought a supply of Tamoxifen with me.  That supply has run out and my onc at the cancer agency gave me a prescription.  It was Teva and it quite literally put me on my knees....  that was the only way I could climb stairs.  So I switched to Nolvadex D which gives me foot pain and some days I can hardly grip with my hands.

So my frustration is that I know a brand which gives me a good quality of life, but it doesn't seem to be available here (Relonchem).  Is there any way I could get hold of this brand?

I'm desperate to get a job but the SE's are making it pretty much impossible at the moment.  Would appreciate anyones thoughts on this matter.

Thank you x

Not sure, never heard of that brand. I fill my Rx at Walgreens and usually get Teva or Mayne...depends on whether or not they issue me a manufacturer bottle or a Walgreens bottle with counted out pills. I don't notice any differences...the side effects are sucky either way.

Hope you find something that helps!
