Hi. I am so sorry you have been going through such things. I'm 26 and have experienced similar stuff. I have many fibroadenomas, but a couple of months ago I found a new lump which felt lile it was growing out of (or at least close to) a 7yo fibroadenoma. I had an ultrasound, which wasn't conclusive, then I had a biopsy which suggests it's a fibroadenoma. I'm going to a specialist on Friday.

Since this new lump cropped up I have had heat in that breast, developing veins above the lump, pain all up the side of my breast and armpit and at times into my chest and sternum. The worst pain has been in the fibroadenoma itself with my cycle (until now, I have never had pain in my fibroadenomas during my cycle, and it's just the one fibroadenoma which is playing up). The other day I drank alcohol, which I rarely do - it was only a small amount, but let me tell you: BAD idea.

I am going to ask the specialist about these issues on Friday. Seeing as you have similar issues, if you would like I can let you know what she says, particularly about the heat.

Of course it is easy for me to say that I understand and hang in there, and I can't offer you very much beside these words and good wishes and prayers. Please do know there is someone else who also feels alone and concerned. Of course I am happy my results are benign. But even so, the doctor's appointments, tests and waiting have affected me emotionally, not to mention the physical stuff.
