Good luck, remember you don't have cancer until the results are in. Hope you hear b9.
-
here's to hoping for B9 results. Please keep us informed.
-
I am exactly in the same boat as you. I’ve already thought this is my last night of going to bed as me, not as the cancer patient or the chemo patient etc.
what have the doctors said to you
-
My last sleep too. I'm a little apprehensive, though trying to be positive! Good luck.
-
nothing so far. They are very guarded. They called me in sooner than my original appointment. If it was my regular doctor I would say bad, but this one is a surgeon so I don't know muc
-
Hugs to all of you. The waiting is so very hard.
-
Dyannah, sparrowhawk, hoping for b9 for you both! Either way, you'll get through this!!!
-
Hoping B9 for dyannah & sparrowhawk. Stay positive and I will be thinking of y'al today. I have my biopsy this afternoon and hope for pathology ASAP. But I know it will probably be Mon & Tues. My in-laws are visiting this weekend and I am not telling anyone except my sister/mom/hubs that I am going through this. So maybe Mon/Tues would be better.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer today
-
Dyannah, I am so sorry you are going through this. My diagnosis was not that long ago, and I remember just how scary it was in the beginning. I can tell you that it does get a little better after you have met with your team and have a treatment plan in place. I wish you the very best and do not hesitate to ask all the questions on here that you need to, or if you just need to vent. Hugs to you.

thoughts & prayers are with you....one day at a time....

dyannah - thoughts and prayers for you... thinking of you
-
thank you all. I don't know what I think. I don't know what I feel. Lol I am just trying to get though today, and that means work. I am not there yet.
I have been told by the surgeon that I will have a lumpectomy. I have to see an oncologist first.
-
Dyannah, I'm so very sorry to hear this news. You are definitely in my prayers and in my thoughts.
I'm still waiting for my results and then we'll take it from there. 5 hours to go.
-
I hope different results for you Sparrow.
-
Dyannah, sorry to hear this news. I hope this is just a bump in the road. Seven years ago I was in your position so upset. At first they said lumpectomy then mastectomy. It was the lowest point in my life, I did the surgery. I was at an emotional low point when I got my oncodx score of 34. I chose no chemo and got a DIEP I haven't seen the cancer since.
I took lorazepam for 2 months to sleep it worked slowly the threat eased. Thinking of you tonight.
-
Thank you Meow13.
Sparrow hawk what we're your results?
-
Benign (suggesting fibroadenoma). I am seeing a specialist next week, though, as my doctor has some concerns.
-
Dear Dyannah,
my thoughts and prayers for you. I was diagnosed just a few months ago. And i know how hard it was. I had a lumpectomy and was since on chemo, with the last one on monday next. Radiation follows after that.
I understand how you feel, but there is one thing i thought of during those early days: "I did not live 32 years to be beat by cancer." I still say that.
Remember, you are a winner.
Much love and many hugs to you.
-
Sparrow hawk, I will keep you in my prayers. Please let me know what the specialist says.
Anna, you are a rock star. You can beat cancers butt. I see the oncologist tomorrow, and will have my pre operation appointment soon. I will get the time today.
-
Thank you, Dyannah! So appreciated. I am praying for you too.
-
Dear Dyannah & Sparrowhawk
My prayers go with both of you. Keep us posted.
