Hi everyone, I'm 25 years old and have recently noticed that my right nipple sometimes turns inwards, only sometimes and if I touch it or its cold etc it will come out. It doesn't happen to the other nipple and it's only recently I've noticed it. I was wondering does this happen to anyone else should I be concerned about it, i also get pain in the right breast in the one spot a dull sharp pain.

I suffer with an anxiety disorder also and this is something that really bothers me i think about it alot constantly googling symptoms I think an opinion from others will put me in the right direction.

Chlobella, I’m sorry that you find yourself in this predicament but this community has been a great support for me as well while I wait for my results. There are amazing people on this site but I am sure that they will agree with me to go and have it checked out. Until then, know that you can expressyour fears or concerns and that people are listening.

Thank you for your reply :).. I had an ultrasound a year ago and I haven't gone back for the results stupid I know my doctor has them and I think if it was something serious they would have told me but I'm going to go back this week. I guess I'm scared they will tell me I'm ok and then I fear what if there wrong. You hear so many stories now of doctors getting it wrong or telling you your too young etc. I will definitely go bsck to the doctor this week.

Like you, I noticed a change in one nipple only.

Stimulating it would make it appear normal again, and then it would go back to flat again.

Their questionaire used the word 'retracted' which to me implies the nipple has become a crater.

Mine no longer stuck out, but was flat/smooth like a nipple never existed-no crater

Like you I was having pain-sharp zapping pains.

The location of the pain turned out to be connected to the location of my calcification clusters and mass-because after the core biopsy (benign) removed the calcs, the pain stopped.

This link seems to have good info and lots of pictures:
