Evening Prayer

My mom was born in County Cork Ireland and if anyone knows anything about the Irish it is that the Irish have a prayer for everything..Over the years there was always a plaque or a print hanging some where in our home gracing one of the old ditties or humorous prayers... ..This is one of my mom's favorites..I thought we could use a few new prayers to start our new topic thread....I also threw one in for the blessing of a new home..And since this is our new home ladies I just want to make sure that we ask for a blessing....Enjoy,Patti

Harleyhoney-thanks for the reply. I kept myself busy painting today(I do woodcrafts). The sawdust was flying in my shop. Ten Steps To A Successful Life

1. MAKE YOUR INTUITION YOUR ALLY
How does your intuition speak to you? Do you receive information in words, feelings, a body sensation? Do you just know? Ask your intuition questions and pay attention to the answers and act on the information you receive.

2. WHAT ARE YOU ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT?
The root of the word enthusiasm is entheos. It literally means "God Within." Just think, when you feel enthusiastic about your dreams it means that God is speaking through you and saying "yes" to your goals! The feeling of enthusiasm is one of the ways your intuition speaks to you. What makes you excited, happy, delighted? What do you look forward to each day? Do more of it!

3. BE CLEAR ABOUT YOUR GOALS
We are often quite clear about what we don't want. Spend time thinking about what you do want. What does your ideal life look like? Draw pictures or cut out scenes from magazines that illustrate the life you want to create. Write in your journal, envision. Spend time each day imagining your ideal life. Envision the details of that life. Imagine you are living it now. What are you wearing? What are you feeling? Who are the people around you? The power is within your mind and heart to bring forth the new life you desire.

4. SPEND TIME IN PRAYER AND MEDITATION
Answers often come to life's questions through self- reflection. Prayer and meditation are two ways we have of slowing down enough to listen to the still, quiet voice of our Higher Self. Remember that the answers don't always pop into your mind fully formed as you meditate or pray. You may find them slowly evolving into your consciousness over several days or weeks as you ask for insight.

5. CREATE POSITIVE SELF TALK
Pay attention to what you tell yourself about yourself and your life. If the general tone is hopeful and positive you feel better and are more optimistic. William James said, "The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives." It's easier to create a life you love when you give yourself affirmative messages.

6. PRACTICE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE
Research has shown that the happiest people are the ones who have gratitude for all that they have despite their circumstances. You don't have to postpone happiness until you have achieved all your goals. Joy is an inside job. In the Talmud it says, "In the world to come each of us will be called to account for all the good things God put on this earth which we refused to enjoy." Learn to appreciate the unfolding process of your life, not just the realization of your dreams.

7. TAKE ACTION
People often get stuck because they can't figure out how to get from Point A to Point Z. What is one thing you could do that would be a next step? Take a class, talk to a friend, read a book on a topic of interest, learn a new skill. Take action on what feels exciting to you.

8. LOOK FOR COINCIDENCES AND SYNCHRONICITIES
It has been said that coincidences are God's way of remaining anonymous. We often have serendipity occurring in our lives as a way to show us we are on the right path. As you trust your intuitive knowing you'll find these synchronicities occurring more often.

9. KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE EBBS AND FLOWS
We often reach success through a series of ups and downs. When you are in a "down" place and feeling stuck, know that it won't last forever. Find some ways to enjoy your life despite the lull and continue to focus on what you want.

10. TRUST IN DIVINE ORDER
Maybe you're beginning to feel as Mother Theresa once did when she said, "I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much." The Universe has a perfect plan for your growth and unfolding as a human being. As you learn to be guided by your intuition you're beginning to act on this wisdom from the Universe.

Thanks again patti for this prayer. Tonight i was feeling so down, i missed the phone call from my dr. with my mri reports which will reveal the status on the second smaller mass, i don't know how i missed the call, the phone rang once and no one way there. The second time i didn't even hear it ring ... phone problems ???? prolly from the storms here or maybe due to the fact that my brother was coming, and i wouldn't have had a great night with him, perhaps i would have been to upset or just to into myself ... God works in mysterious way and for a reason the report was delayed. He came up from North Carolina to check on me, and also to tell me that he is going to fund my husbands Own Pest Control business, he is going to invest in a franchise ... a few Million for start up. He saw me is good spirits and knows that I will beat this Pesty BC. No pun intended so i tried to sleep and just couldn't, so i came to the place that i feel comforted and while reading tonights prayers i was brought to tears, it is often said that humans tear up when angels are near due to the emotional clash of frequencies sp? i know this to be true, in 1996 i use to work with people on how to communicate with their Angels i know it sounds odd, but i am writing a book called "Somewhere Under the Rainbow", the book is a non-ficton account of my angel experiences ... I was very ill at the time and i was moved to The Familys' original house, they founded a now rather large town in New Jersey at the turn of the century. While i lived in the house alone trying to heal, to get back into the entertainment industry, i was a film director/ writer ... i could see, hear and smell Angels. Very few people knew i had come back to my home town, the last they heard about me was in the newspapers upon the filming of a rather large film, but due to my ill health i needed to go home. Still some how some way certain people found me and they were in need of help with their lives. I had been studing every healing system known on planet earth and a few from beyound. i took what i could use and saved the rest just in case it could one day help another, i stuided for eight years ... and during that time 36 different people came to me for what was called Angel work. Angels are so very interesting and easy to see ... they are celestrial beings and so the way one has to see them is thru light, Natural light ... easy enough ... just light a candle and ask for your Angels to appear ... slightly squint through the flame of the candle one should see a cone appear ... after that one can see wings and the image can grow from there. I have many pictures of angels taken with different kinds of cameras and film stocks. Angels are a species created By our Father, like fish, or dogs, it isn't like people turn into angels when they pass although there are a few cases but they seem to be arch-angels, there are nine different ranks of angels and really only two deal with humans, angels, like nature angels, enviroment angels, transformation angels, there are angels for almost every thing ... companion angels as they like that term better then guardian angels due to the fact that to guard seemed to mean that one was unsafe and needed protection, but companion angels are always with us even if other angels come and support us too. They all belong to the class of Angels, and the one that we all need to pray for Our lord to send to us is our Healing Angels, there are processing angels and re-wiring angels which also are important for BC patients so that our bodies can handle treatments ...FYI(the arch angels also deal with people, and there are seven other kinds of angels too), i guess what i wanted to say here is that we do have spiritual guides and help, we just need to pray and ask in the name of Our Father, His Son our Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for them to help us, I always ask for "by the grace of Our Lady" too ... i'm not Catholic but i have a great closeness with Our Lords Mother ... My first post was about Angels.. I wrote Pslam 91:11 " For He Will Command his Angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways" this version is from the Holy Bible the New International Version, one of many Bibles i have ... the 911, the emergency code ... i first read the book "How to speak with your Angels" for anyone intrested in learning more on the subject ... was it pauline who said she could hear the Angels buzzing her at night ... ?? well yes they do, do that ... God Bless you all tonight and those who have had a treatment and or a surgery, I pray for Relief , and those waiting for results or the scheduling of a procedure I pray for Patience & Comfort And for those that are searching for their correct treatment plan I pray for Clarity. Patti great news !!!! Copernicapuss is cancer free. The path report showed negative ... when the doctor called i was so Happy i ran to let my parents know, my father who has a trech and can hardly speak mouthed the words , "The Lord Answered my Prayers" as he held my hand, i cried ... he will still need medical treatment but that's ok it treatable ... thanks for placing him in your prayers ... As for me i received the Call from the breast surgeon, a lumpectomy is scheduled oct 2nd and two more sites were found an inch away from the 1.5 cm carcanoma ... i'm praying to get thru the wait, 17 days & nights. I posted that i am so scared now, with a few questions too, but it seems like before today this felt as if it was just a dream. Reality sets in but it is a comfort to beable to post here ... (((((((healing hugs ))))))) & prayers to all, God Bless ~caro~

We must remember to pray for Nina Johnson. Pam (Jordan) posted about her under "Metestatic". She is Pam's friend who has had bc for 4 years is a single mom of Andy, her 15 year old son. She had been doing ok until a couple of weeks ago and she is now in the hospital and drs say there is nothing more they can do and only give her a couple of weeks. Lord, I just want to say in this situation that we believe in miracles and we know you are the miracle giver for Nina and for all of us.

My husband and I go to church every night to pray. There is usually no one there; thank God Fr. Charlie leaves it unlocked. I light a candle for all of us and the last one lasted 6 days! And the latest one is still burning after 5. They usually go for 3 or 4 days. I think God is really hearing us. I pray that our Lord blesses us and grants us His peace all night long and blesses us with sleep as we have no thoughts of cancer durng the entire night. Love Marsha
