Being 6 weeks out from last chemo treatment I have about 1/2" of hair....this morning I decided to go for the "extra body" shampoo...ya know....if I had an extra body I could toss all the stuff that's happening to this one onto that one and go on with life as usual kept looking in the mirror to see if it made a difference...in the hair...nope...and by the way, it came in salt and pepper...guess Someone is telling me that I need a little spice in my life It is more salt than pepper so guess that means it will be preserved well...for when I get back to it...

My Hair too came back Salt and Pepper with alot of silver. Get alot of people telling me how beautiful it is. Think I am going to keep it. LOL Plus now I wear my hair short. Would never had done that before.

My hair is coming back alot more salt than pepper. My dh and my dd both think it makes me look old so I've started coloring it again. I'm 49 so that's a little young to be all gray. IMHO lol

Jan - 6 weeks out and already 1/2" of hair??? I am now 4-1/2 months out and don't have that much regrowth yet. What little I have is salt & pepper too, though. Can't wait till I need to use shampoo again, can't happen soon enough. - Sandy

My hair also grew back salt and pepper, and soooo soft. then came the curly stage once it grew more, was so unruly. little more than a year later, still a bit of curls. I do colour it every 8 weeks because there was just to much grey for me. My hair still isn't as long as it was before chemo. now I'm 44 and my friend says long hair wouldn't suit me anymore. maybe she is right.
