Lymph node lump is scaring me, please help!!

A few weeks back I saw this lump between my shoulder and the left breast.
Observations:
has a brown discoloration over it, like when you get a pimple and the pimple heals but the brown scar remains for some time.
It feels around half a cm.
moves with the skin
a bit tender
breasts have no lump
Before I head out to my doctor, can someone please confirm:
IF A SWOLLEN LYMPH NODE HAS DISCOLORATION ON TOP OF IT OR NOT ?
Or if the skin above it remains normal colored ?

The location and depth are not common for a lymph node and they are not usually visible or show discoloration. Let us know what your doctor thinks it is.
