Broken ribs

I was in an accident about 4 months ago and broke some ribs. Recent X-ray shows they are healed, but I am continuing to have pain, with definite remodeling of the area. I had an LD Flap bilateral in 2010. DX was ILC stage 1B. Wondering if it’s possible that my reconstruction was compromised as a result of this accident. Haven’t seen the surgeon about this yet. Always worried about Mets to ribs. Anyone have similar situation? Thanks

    Rib pain could take many months to heal, however you should definitely have your scans (x-rays, etc) assessed by your breast surgeon/oncology team if the pain has persisted - just to be cautious.

    Hang in there, and just get it checked out for peace of mind.
