Halaven and hair loss

Mine fell out almost immediately. Supposedly it comes back in pretty fast, but I haven't seen that yet.

I lost at least 60-70% of my hair on Halaven - pretty much after the first cycle. I was on it for a year. The remaining hair I had was all over my head, just not enough to wear without a cap or wig. Yep - another chemo with hair loss - ugh

Yes, nancyH, what a sweetie. This is the hard part about old threads getting bumped. For us old-timers, the pain is real.

I lost my hair on Taxol before Halaven so I can't report, except to say that after my first Halaven cycle, the fuzz on my head shed like crazy.

Update: turns out I’m skipping straight over Havalen and going right to Taxol. 97% chance of hair loss

Larkin on Taxol I didn't loose all my hair [maybe 40%, no bald spots] while Lulu did. It is a crap shoot! Hope that your first week on Taxol goes well.
