Has anyone tried the FluMist vaccine? I have bilateral LE but I'm over 49 years old, the recommended age cap. Curious if anyone else with LE has tried it. Thanks!

Tsoebbin, I have given a lot of nasal flu vaccinations in the past, but our health department isn't stocking it this year and they didn't last year either. Since you can't do vaccinations in your arm, how about your hip? Just tell the person doing the vaccinations. If they refuse or don't know how, see your doctor or call CVS or Walgreens. A pharmacist should be able to help.

I haven't, but I now get all my shots in the top of my calf.

They can also give it to you in your rear end, I think. Not pleasant, but it's better than risking lymphedema! And if you go to the doctor for it (vs a pharmacy), it should be behind closed doors.

My local pharmacy won't inject except in the arm, but I prefer the privacy at a clinic. I find top of the thigh is more comfortable than the arm was, so that's a bonus.
