I just responded to your post on the other thread! Thanks for the info.

It is weird cause most of the time I am fine. But if I allow myself to dwell on it (and I am not busy with the family -- usually if I am alone or up too late), then I kind of get worried. But I have a strong faith, and that really helps.

    Thanks again,

    Leah

Hello- I know this post is from a while ago but I was wondering what the next step for you was? Today I had a bilateral ductogram because I had non spontaneous bloody nipple discharge in both nipples. My mammogram and ultrasound were clear (which doesn't seem to mean much in situations like this). The radiologist has no issue getting the dye in my left breast. Dye went in and all my ducts lit up like a Christmas tree. No lesions could be found. When I asked what was causing the dark/bloody discharge she suggested it might be duct inflammation but my surgeon would discuss that with me. The right breast was slightly different. Needle went into the nipple but she wasn't able to get much dye into the ducts. At first she thought it might be because there was something blocking it but the immediate mamo showed nothing. She preformed the ductogram again and again it worked a little better but my right breast did not light up like like the left. You could see where the dye stopped. However. the radiologist said she couldn't see anything in the way and wasn't sure why the dye wasn't spreading more. She was surprised and took many images in different positions and still said there was nothing there. She is sending the report to my surgeon as inconclusive. I see him tomorrow. I'm not sure what to expect- MRI or surgery even if nothing was showing with the ductogram.

    Thank you!
