I'm grateful to be looking out on my garden on this sabbath with my dog Georgia laying at my feet and the light shining through the last pink roses. I can hear my sweetie making our Sunday dinner in the kitchen. He has proven to be the best partner to have through this cancer. I thank God everyday for bringing my husband to me.

I am grateful for the McGriddles my son brought me by riding to McDonald's on his scooter this morning. They are awesome! No bacon to assuage my twinges of guilt. 😉

are turning away from His love.

I am grateful that God has saved my life twice, once by waking up full of dread with my thumb on my right breast, exactly on cancer I didn't know of, and again, with a mysterious tiny bump near my groin that did not light up on a PET, but made me want one. The lump disappeared, but the PET revealed cancer in my sacrum. I am NED once again. There is nothing but praise on my lips. I have a 15year old son with autism, and I am his world. My work on Earth is not finished yet, and the Lord has extended my life. Hallelujah! Amen
