Waiting for Biopsy Results

I'm 48 years old and had a needle core biopsy done yesterday. I won't get results until next Monday. All I know is the mass is 17mm in size and partially calcified. I know no one can diagnosis from that limited info but wondering if anyone could just share their experiences? I'm very scared and do NOT wait well

    I'm sorry that you feel so scared :/ that it's completely normal when we have to wait for the result! My advice will not be to google to much..when I took a biopsy mine was 10 cm! So I got the news almost directly...so many things in the chest that can turn into different things and it don't need to be cancer <3 do you have other symptoms? My nippel was strange + the skin where the mass was laying was strange..I wish you all the best and I know it is hard to wait..my mind waint straight into thinking worst case senario ( Im from Norway so my English is a bit shaky :/)

    Thank you for your reply. Your English is just fine. No worries there. Here's the thing. I'm a nurse. Have been for 25 years so I already know too much. Mostly just looking for others to talk to who can share their story and relate.

    you and I are in the exact same spot. I had my biopsy today. My lump is about 2cm. I don't remember the exact measurements.

    As hard as it may be, waiting is all that you can do. I was in your shoes in March. The waiting was awful! When I finally received my diagyof BC, I felt somewhat relieved and instantly converted to warrior mode. I wish you ladies benign results..hug
