I had my six month follow up todayfor a previous fibroadenoma

So today I had my six month follow-up for a fibroadenoma....went for mano and they kept asking for more views because the radiologist wanted to magnify areas, then had ultrasound done! Radiologist said he some calcifications that weren’t there 6 months ago and wants a mammo biopsy. Also had appointment for 6 month follow up with my breast surgeon today....he seemed concerned! Never said the word cancer but suggested I have surgery with the guided mammo to biopsy the calcifications he said he’s 50/50 on it being cancer....I’m a nervous nelly

    Hi Shonna71-47

    I would be very nervous as well! I have 4 lumps that will be biopsied next week- a fine needle biopsy. One is a cyst and the surgeon things fibroadenoma for the others. Hopefully the biopsy will confirm that. Did you have a biopsy to confirm fibroadenoma when it was first found?
