How I can choose the best hospital for radiation? What questions I must ask to know if they have the best?

What is the best technique for radiation if it is small tumor with negative nodes.

Im in Germany. There are million places I don’t know how to select among them. If anyone knows a good place in Germany please let me know.

I believe most women get whole breast radiation with boosts to the tumor bed toward the end in this country. I think many would advise you to pick a place that's nearby since you'll have to go five days a week through treatment. That said I'm not sure it matters too much--treatment is pretty standard.

I agree with Ingerp find a reputable place that is close if you can. I went to a cancer center for treatment that was highly reputable but unfortunately not that close to home. I did request the first appointment of the day though so I could get it over with early and have the day to recover. The techs were awesome friendly and efficient.

Your doctor could recommend a place and one that is covered by your insurance - as in in network because the treatments are not cheap. Idk what your financial situation is but it would have been difficult if not impossible for my DH and I to afford treatments had we not had insurance. Also by the time I had treatments we were at 100% with our insurance deductible so it was totally covered.

It is pretty standard treatment so I’m betting there are a number of good treatment centers in your country/area.

    Good luck!
