Getting through the worst 6 weeks of my life

HI Everyone,

Not sure if anyone has experienced this! I was diagnosed with ILC and went through a lumpectomy and then radiation. I am now one month out of radiation treatment...and the only way to describe it was utter insanity. I could feel each and every treatment. I had to stop 3 times in order to get though all of my sessions. My skin was pretty bad and the fatigue was horrible after treatment each day...but the sessions were...well beyond words. It was like receiving a full day's sunburn in 25 seconds in the middle of my chest. I am very glad to be done with that and moving on.

I am now on the other side and if anyone is struggling, well, with any part of treatment, I wanted to offer some help. Before I was diagnosed I had started developing an app that was about binging success and life fulfillment. I had no idea how glad I would be I had designed that app. It has helped my through this process more than I can say.There are sections on positivity, making clear decisions and bouncing back after a tough time in life all backed by science. It is currently in its beta version so anyone who is going through breast cancer, or has a friend or family member going through breast cancer may find it of interest.

And to everyone going through this disease remember, you are incredible, strong, amazing and you are not alone.
