Called back for diagnostic w/US after routine mammo

Hi,

I have been here before for IBC fears. I had a diagnostic mammo 3 1/2 years ago after a 3rd bout of mastitis (was 10 years out from having my last baby) and everything turned out fine. Dense and fibro tissues, but nothing else noted. Also no explanation, but still. I appreciate all of the sweet words of encouragement I received here, so thank you!!

Fast forward to now-I turned 40 this year, so I just started my annual scans. Had it on Tuesday and I got called back for an area of concern on my right breast. I am trying not to freak out, but it’s hard. I have already been having concerns because my body has been tripping lately. I haven’t had a period since May and I’ve been having hot flashes. I’m only 40 so that’s crazy early for menopause!

No lumps that I can feel but like I said my breasts are dense and large. Hard to get a good feel for things in there myself. Random weird feelings in that breast but nothing consistent.

Anyway, with the wacky missing period, hot flashes and now an area of concern I guess I just need some reassurance or good vibes or something. Similar experiences that turned out ok??
