Lucy, she's precious. Congrats on your new baby!
-
Getting ready for Pride! LOL
-
Oh how sweet❤️ My first poodle was a black toy boy. Wanna smooch that poodley nose.
Do a google search for Poodle Forum. Lots of nice Poodle ppl there.
-
Spookie ..thanks for the advice on the poodle forum ..I'll definitely have a look ..plus I need some advice on puppy night time toilet training 😮🙄
-
you pretty much have to take them out every few hours. Sorry, I’m sure you’d rather have different advice, but he’s a baby and can’t hold it for long. I think the general rule is one hour per month. So he can probably hold it for about four hours now.
-
put him in a crate on your bed, or in your room. They don’t like to potty in their bed. He should whine or make enough noise to wake you. Out to the potty spot, straight back to bed. No playing. Might take a month, poodles are smart, will catch on quick❤️

I have enjoyed looking at all these beautiful dogs pictures. I have six dog rescues and three cats. Yanko 5 years. I adopted him when he was 1 year old. His previous owners thought it was appropriate to keep him in a cage 24 hours a day. They fed and watered him from empty bleach containers. Yet they were upset because he wasn't potty trained. Within 3 days of being in my home he was completely potty-trained. No more bleach jugs either. When they found out he was potty trained and doing great at my house they sent me an email requesting their dog back. I told them no way in hell.

Sachi 6 years approx. She suffers from allergies and Cushing's disease. She is an angel. She is pretty much indifferent to almost everything except for treats. Unfortunately her treats are all hypoallergenic. I always know when she's feeling badly because she wants to cuddle with me.
-
yay puppers!!!! I love the puppy pics!!! 😍😍
No pets allowed in my current apartment building
However I could apply to have a therapy dog. Not sure what that entails and if I am up for it.
I LOVE doggies sooooo much and I want one soooo badly but I worry about my lifestyle not being great for one right now - I love to travel a lot and I live alone. My parents are in the same building as me but I don’t think they’d want the responsibility (although they love doggies too).

Your pups are beautiful, Jo. Some people are THE WORST. I'm so glad your Yanko has you now.
-
Jo -- also, not to judge, but your pups all look rather spoiled rotten.
-
crawfish-guilty as charged. They are spoiled with love. I love them so much. They bring so much joy and Sanity to my life. Okay to be completely honest a couple of them bring a little bit of insanity.
I have to agree with all of you when you potty train a puppy be prepared to take them out every few hours.
-
this handsome boy came into my workplace. Tag is a guide dog in training.
-
👍❤️👍.
-
crowfish- tag is a beautiful dog.
-
My sweet fur baby Princess! She will be turning 13 next month and still acts like a puppy.
-
aaj0704- what a beautiful photograph. Was that professionally done? Your princess is a cutie pie
-
loving that star action. Dogs are so funny and loveable, I really thought how precious is that!
Tag is beautiful! I have my own doggie named tag. He is 10 but has the greys early and his back legs are weakening every day. Worries me. Down the steps is more of a belly slide going on. He's a very loyal great dog, he loves my DH so much. When DH isn't here, he's glued to my side. My Deeohgee Is always with me, but he's so bad. He needs a job. For sure !
Loving the doggies ~M~

can we see a pic of Tag, Micmel? Our oldest dog has arthritis and we find that daily glucosamine treats really do help. We give them to her twice a day. We also give her gabapentin for pain. Maybe your Tag needs something like that. His old joints might need some help.
-
aaj, Princess has sparkly stars following her around. I bet she’s a prima donna.
-
Crawfish~ I give him joint pills that the vet recommended for growing older of joints and arthritis. We got him a big bed for his old bones. He can’t get up and down like he used to. He loves it. Especially since it’s been chilly at night, which I love. .....
....keeps him warm. For sure. I have another bed for The other big boy! Good night everyone !
-
Aw, Tag is a handsome guy. And he looks quite comfy on his bed! Did he used to sleep in yours? lol
-
Crawfish~ he was never a person bed sleeper. He's always liked his blankets and he would curl up there . My other hound Deeohgee on the other hand, IS a bed sleeper. Exhibit A:
He is in my bed directly next to my hip! The purple sweat pants are me. Two weeks ago, he got his collar stuck under the bed frame, and was choking. I heard him whining in the distant, so I went exploring.... I found him barely awake choking under the bed. I popped his collar off and he ran away gasping. He hasn't left my side since. He never left my side before, but this is different. A different bond now. He has a new bed also. I sure hope he gets to liking it. His warm body heat is way too much for my hot flashes ! Have a great day! ~M~
-
micmel-loved the pic of tag sleeping and deeohgee. Love the dog's name. How horrifying to find it choking. No wonder deeohgee is sticking even closer to your side.
-
he knows his mama has his back! He’s a cuddle bug. For a big dog of 85 lbs. he’s a big loaf lol but I love him dearly. Both of them. Tag is getting older it worries me We love our pets so deeply they become family. ~M~
It was kinda traumatic now that I think back. No wonder he stays with me always. It’s a rainy rainy Sunday. But loving loving the cool temps oh yes I am.
-
jo6359 - I took the picture. Pure luck on my part to get a picture with her sitting still. The stars were a filter. FB messenger I think.
crawfish - oh yes she is a total prima donna.
We have Princess on CBD oil for her arthritis. We have noticed a big difference. Before she wouldn’t jump on the couch and she didn’t want to go up or down the stairs. No issue now. Of course she isn’t the jumper like she used to be but we are happy she has more movement and minimal pain.
-
My ❤️ dog, an Aussie had spondylitis from doing agility. I tried Rimadyl, but that gave him diarrhea. Deramax was next, and helped him for a long time. Probably something newer out now.
A dog park friend has a 15yo mini Am Eskimo. She tried Muffin on the CBDand didn’t notice much difference. Guess they’re like us all different.
