I'm 34 I have a mammogram and ultrasound scheduled for Thursday but I feel like the appointment confirmation has severally increased my anxiety. I've had a lingering pain in my right breast only along the right side and I can't reallt describe the type of pain, tingly I guess. It's sometimes less irritating than other times and at time can painless until I notice there's no pain there and the pain comes back. It's definitely more of feeling of something there than not. My sister passed away of breast cancer at 34 so I'm paranoid. I don't think I have any other symptoms can anyone offer any words of advice? It's only on one breast and has been happening for about a year

So sorry for your loss and current scare. Of course, one has to be cautions, but no one knows what the future holds.

I had pain starting three years prior the diagnosis in the exact same area where cancer was found. Doesn't mean this will be your case, but pain is certainly something to pay close attention to.

If indeed there is cancer and you will find it early, you will be in a very different situation than your sister's. Best wishes!
