IBC scared

Greetings to everyone. I would like to ask for some feeedback as Im extremely worried for my wife.

My wife is 35 years of age. Seven days ago she showed me a reddish welt about the size of a nickel that appeared overnight very close to her nipple on the lower part her breast (about 7 o clock position closer to her cleavage).

It has been a week and its has not gotten any worse or progressed, but has not gone away either. She feels no pain or itchiness, but a slight sensation or sting when she is lying down. There is no change to her nipple or skin around it. You can feel a distinct pea sized lump right under her welt that moves to the touch.

Im extremely worried as everything i read says IBC. Could these be symptoms of early IBC? If not, could it be a red flag for any other malignancies?

Edit. We've made an apointment for a doctor but its not for another 2 weeks! Please Im very worried that this could be IBC.
