I started creeping this message board a few months ago when I first found a hardish marble size mass on my ribs, right below my left breast. It has grown some, following my rib and shaped like a tootsie roll. I went to my PCP and she was very dismissive and didn't order any tests. A few months later and the mass had made it's way over my sternum to under my right breast. Next, several pea sized soft lumps appeared under both inframammary crease.

At that point, US and mammo were negative.

Just recently, I found a hard caterpillar sized very hard lump in the upper outer quadrant. I can't tell if its defined or not, as it is in a web of lymph nodes also in the upper outer breast tissue. I have significant bilateral axillary lymphadenopathy and also swollen nodes along my sternum.

Can anyone pipe in with any similar signs or symptoms? Oh, and I'm a 38 year old female without significant medical history or familial history.

May be BC, May be another cancer or it can be that your body is fighting an infection and your nodes are swollen. Full panel bloodwork and ultrasound/mri, and needle biopsy would be what I would ask for

Okiemom21 are any of the areas sore? I have a spot on my rib under my breast that is sore and feels like a little moveable lump and my breast surgeon says it's part of my costochondritis. Not sure if you're familiar with what that is but it's an inflammation of the cartilage that connects the ribs to the breastbone. I'm not buying it, but what else can I do?! I also had an area like the one you have on the upper outer quadrant of my breast that the breast surgeon was even concerned about but the ultrasound showed nothing

I hope you get some answers soon! Keep us posted

Edited to add, I'm 35 with no family hostory
