A lump on breast & underarm on the same side indicate cancer?

i am concerned about my mom. The mammogram and ultrasound showed a lump on her breast and underarm. Does this mean it's breast cancer immediately??

not necessary..it can be benign or somthing but it can be cancer as well you should check her to a dr immediately.

It doesn't mean cancer, could be fibroids. Are they doing a biopsy?

Your concern is understandable, but we are not medical professionals and it would be irresponsible for anyone here to guess at what it might be. Since her mammogram shows some areas of concern, what have her doctors recommended as the next step

So what are her doctors proposing, going forward?More imaging, biopsy? I think it’s pretty impossible to hazard a guess without further assessment. Could it be cancer? Yes, but it might not be. I know it’s hard not to put the horse before the cart, but speculation before there’s a definite diagnosis can drive you crazy. Best wishes to your mom and family and try (not always easy) to take it one day at a time.

the doctor did tell us it was a good sign that the lump seen on breast has no vascularity. But still we are concerned about the outcome :
