Recently diagnosed, my head is spinning with all the terms and numbers. I have an awesome support system. Yet I feel very alone.

I quit smoking over 12 years ago. I did that with the help of a chat room. Are there any breast cancer chat rooms available? I found that instant enlightenment helpful.

Luvduv, so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, I was diagnosed not that long ago as you can see by my signature. So glad you have a wonderful support system around you. Even with that I can relate to feeling alone, I feel like that comes and goes. I usually get on here and either read threads that have a similar diagnosis or those involving future treatments I may have. Everyone here has been amazing at answering any questions or concerns I have. Have you had your initial consult with your breast surgeon? I did feel some relief by getting a better picture of what I was dealing with. I have learned, at least from my experience there are many appointments and steps before getting down to treatment. I hope you will find some moments of peace, and don't be afraid to ask questions here or just vent about how you are feeling.

    All the Best.

thank you all. Wishing you the best. I might still look for a chat room. But this seems to be a great resource. Funny... I wonder if I treated people the way they treat me now. I went to a family wedding last night where only a few people know of my diagnoses and suddenly those that know all “LOVE” me!!! Really now they love me? Where they the past 54 years? Before this death sentence?? This is a rhetorical question.
