Scar creams?

I'm sure this has been discussed but I haven't found a thread. My PS told me I should begin massaging my scar with cream next week. When I asked what type,she said anything really, cocoa butter works well. Anyone have anything more specific that's worked for them? Thanks!

    I just started using Mederma on my bmx scars. Itwell on my appendectomy scar years ago.

    I’ve also used coconut oil + lavender on my kiddo who had a stubborn scar

    I haven't started using it yet (only 27 days post-surgery and still have steristrips in place) but my PS said Aquaphor is what he thinks is "best" and one of the nurses from my overnight stay at the hospital (had bmx herself) swore by it, too.

    My scars didn't want to heal and were still scabby at 6 wks post op so I started to use coconut oil with frankincense essential oil and it was healed in 2 days. I figured if it did that well on the scabs, I'd continue to use it for the scar massage too. I tried Bio Oil but didn't see much result. Plus the essential oil smells so good. My second batch I added a little lavendar to it too
