Does N5 mean BIRADS 5?

In my ultrasound, I heard them calling something “N5.” Is that the same as BIRADS 5? I’m scheduled for a biopsy next week.

    Hi apatient,

    Hard to say as we are not medical practitioners but in an ultrasound N is usually referencing the nipple, and they divide the breast into 5 quadrants.     For anyone wondering, N5 means 5 cm from the nipple.

    I am BIRADS 5 anyway,though. Waiting for biopsy results.
