Indentation - question

Options

I know I will be getting this checked but while I wait for the appointments etc I am hoping I can get some help/support.

I am 5 yrs from left sided cancer diagnosis. I had mastectomy and total lymph node dissection on the left side followed by prophylactic on right with bilateral reconstruction. Next week I am having the foobs taken out as I have developed a capsular contracture on the left side for the 2nd time.

Yesterday I noticed an indentation in my right arm pit. This is the non cancer side and the side with no contracture. Of course I am concerned this may be a lymph node. I can’t feel anything but it is kinda freaking me out.

Wonder if anyone has had experience with this. It is quite noticeable...I have showed it to my family and they can all see it clearly.

Ugh...the gift that just keeps giving

Any new symptom should be checked, and it’s good you are in tune with your body to notice changes. Most lymph node changes are due to things other than cancer, but you are wise to get it checked. Have you had recentvweight loss or gain which could posscontribute to the indent? Hoping they can get you in soon for an ultrasound.
