37 with Spiculated Mass-Sister is Metastatic

In early June we found out my older sister (age 39) has BC early July we found out she’s Metastatic as its spread to her spine and sternum.

Of course my family decided everyone needed to go get a mammogram. My mom came back clear, my sister came back clear. I got a call early last week after my 3D mammogram saying they wanted me to come back for an ultrasound. I was on vacation when they called and scheduled it for Wednesday thinking it was just my first mammogram and they didn’t have anything to compare to.

In the meantime they posted the report, “Possble 11mm spiculated left breast upper outer quadrant nodule in mid one third depth.” After googling all that stuff I’m thinking my odds aren’t great of being cancer free.

I haven’t said anything to my mom as she’s having a hard enough time dealing with my sisters recent diagnosis. I’ve discussed with my hubby a bit but he thinks I’m being paranoid.

Just want everyone’s real thoughts and want to be realistic.

    My sister came up negative. My mom had uterus and ovarian cancer as well. My mom was never tested.

    I actually changed my appointment today and don’t have great feelings about the results. I have a biopsy Friday and feel like I’m walking in my sisters footsteps
