I would reach out to whoever prescribed your antibiotics a few days ago, and explain you are still having symptoms and see what they say.

Oh, my sympathies! I hate it when the answer is, basically, "bodies are complicated and idiosyncratic." Hope you start feeling better!

I'm surprised that your biopsy was done by a technician. I've had two biopsies, one core biopsy and one fine needle biopsy. In each case they were done by the radiologist who read the mamo and identified the suspicious area. I would try to contact the radiologist. The diagnosis is not complete until the actual sample is analysed in the lab. I don't understand why a radiologist would walk away and hand the biopsy to someone else to do. Especially someone who is not a radiologist. I sure hope you can get this figured out soon.

So sorry that you have this painful reminder of your biopsy. They poked you in a very delicate place! How close is it to your armpit? Can you wear a camisole or loose fitting clothing? Also try the opposite: Wear a tube top/body corset that hugs. Gentle Hugs! Biopsies are not fun. Necessary, but not fun.

I think your immune system took notice of the unusual tissue in your breast and is trying to remove it. I wouldn't be surprised if you'd see a reduction in your fibroadenoma following this.
