I am so relieved that my score was 6. I had chemo as a teenager and I was not looking forward to it again but of course I would have done it. Is there any chance they would still recommend Chemotherapy?

Hi there. I really doubt they'd recommend chemo with an Oncotype score of 6, stage 1, grade 1. and no nodes involved. So congrats! Are you still expecting radiation + an anti-estrogen pill?

they will not recommend chemo at all. If you refer to the NCCN breast cancer guidelines AND the latest Tailor clinical trial, there is absolutely no category whatsoever that would qualify you for chemo. None

This is my first time posting. You diagnoses sound similar to mine. No chemo for me. Oncotype was 9. I didnt have radiation because i had the mastectomy. I have been on the arimidex now for a month and the only side effect so far is a few hotflashes. I am hoping it stays that way!

Thank you! I am glad you are doing well. I am ready to speak with the oncologist and get the ball rolling. I am nervous about the radiation but I did decide on lumpectomy. I had already lost my right leg cancer. I am glad you got a low score too
