Terrible side effects during chemotherapy

Yesterday, I had my 5th chemotherapy with Paclitaxel after my 4 A.C. chemo and now i am having horrible continous pain in lower abdominal and also severe back pain with weakness in full body and constipation also. Please suggest me some remedies to get rid of these pains. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance :)

    Have you contacted your MO or your cancer clinic yet? If it's sudden onset and that severe, I think you need to call the clinic and discuss with the nurses. They may want you to see a doctor today.

    I was given a handout with all the things I could take & then if those didn't work, I could call them and they'd prescribe different medications.

    You should check with them what OTC medications they're ok with you taking. I could take tylenol or ibuprofen but had to take my temperature beforehand. If those didn't work, they'd have given me prescription pain relievers with codeine. There are other treatments for the pain but your MO really needs to make those decisions.

    Epsom salt baths also helped me. I hope you find some relief quickly.

    We agree with moth that any severe pain or other side effects that come on suddenly after treatment should be brought to your physician's attention. Keep us posted on what you learn. We hope you will get relief soon and stay active here in the community for support.
