Hi I am new to the group and just recently found out I had a small microinvasion that was HER2 positive. I was diagnosed on June 18th with DCIS and suspected microinvasion. Opted for a lumpectomy knowing I would have to have rads. after meeting with the oncologist for the first time I was told I had a .5mm microinvasion that was ER+ PR- HER2+. Oncologist was taking this to the tumor board to decided treatment bc of my age (45) and how small the microinvasion was. Has anybody else had similar diagnosis and if so what was the outcome?

heaterc - here is a thread for Her2+ and micro-invasion - many of these folks are very knowledgeable about this and this is a comprehensive thread. I know the title of the thread is for greater than 1mm, but thought the info contained within might be helpful.
