Not as fit as I would like to be or should be.
Would you rather bike ride or walk to get fit?
-
I would like to try bike riding again but it isn't very practical near where I live because there's too much traffic.
Do you like swimming or not?
-
Yes, I was swimming yesterday with my hubby and then our girls and my grandson when they came up.
Do you like laying in the sun or not? (I did that for a short while before.)
-
I'm not sure if I like laying in the sun or not because I don't do it.
The next person uses sunblock when they lay in the sun.
-
Yes, of course.
Do you enjoy floating in a pool or would you rather swim laps?
-
I used to swim laps in pools but now I don't go to pools, so I'm not sure.
Do you swim distances in the ocean or mostly catch the waves?
-
Hi Aussie!!
I prefer to just catch the waves. But they usually end up knocking me down!! Lol
Do you like sandy beaches or sunny pools best?
-
Hi Ocean!! That's why I like gentle waves.
I prefer sandy beaches. Chlorine in pools doesn't agree with me.
Do you always end up with sand in your car after going to the beach?
-
Yes, and everywhere else!! Lol
Would you prefer snow skiing or water skiing? (I've never done either but I was just wondering which sounds more appealing. Lol)
-
I've done snow skiing when I was younger but it would be too hard for me to do it these days. I don't really want to do water skiing either.
Do you prefer freestyle or breast stroke swimming?
-
I prefer freestyle. Though I really only dog paddle when I swim. Lol
Are you a good swimmer or more of a floater?
-
I don't think I'm a good swimmer in terms of style (I never learnt how to do Freestyle) but I used to be able to swim at least 30 laps of our local pool using breast stroke, so I could keep it up for a long time. I don't know about now.
Are you sensitive to chlorine or not?
-
No, we have a pool and I swim in it a lot and I've never had a problem.
Do you have food or medicine allergies? (I don't know of any food allergies but I do have several medicine allergies.)
-
I'm allergic to aspirin and some antibiotics. I have lots of other allergies (eg. cats and wool). I have some food sensitivities but not allergies.
The next person doesn't like to take too many drugs.
-
No I don't. I'm so glad to be done with chemo. I had to take way too many drugs during that time. Now I'm just back to the 2 things I took for migraines before, iron supplements and Tamoxifen.
Do you have trouble with headaches or not? (I've struggled with migraines for nearly 30 years.)
-
I sometimes get headaches but it hasn't been a big problem for me. I'm so glad you're done with chemo too! I'm sorry you get migraines.
Do you have nice handwriting or not?
-
Yes, I've been told I have beautiful handwriting.
Do you prefer handwriting (cursive) or printing?
-
I write with cursive most of the time. I would like to see some of your handwriting some time.
Do you write quickly or slowly?
-
If I write quickly it tends to be sloppy. If I write slowly then it's much more pretty.
Do you prefer to write in black or blue ink?
-
I use blue ink. I also have pink and aqua blue pens for heading and certain things I write.
Do you prefer pink or red?
-
I like both. I actually wear a lot of both. I'm wearing a red shirt & jacket right now.
Do you prefer blue or purple?
-
Royal blue is my second favourite colour but I love purple as well. I love pretty colours!
Do you prefer blue or green?
-
I prefer blue. My favorite colors have always been pink and purple. Followed by blue.
Do you prefer solid colors or patterns?
-
Most of my clothes are solid colours but I like the occasional pattern, especially floral.
Do you prefer skirts or dresses?
-
I have quite a few skirts but I do prefer dresses.
Do you prefer pants or skirts/dresses?
-
I prefer pants most of the time but skirts and dresses can be good when it's hot (which it certainly isn't here at the moment!).
Do you prefer wearing round neck or v-neck tops?
-
I prefer round necks. But it really depends on the top and how it's made.
Do you prefer long or short sleeves?
-
Most of my tops are short-sleeved.
Do you like to have lace, flowers or sequins on your clothes?
-
I have some tops with sequins. Very few with flowers. And I can't think of any with lace.
Do you like to have souvenir t-shirts from places you have been or not? (I have lots of these.)
-
No I don't. Things like that don't usually suit me.
Do you like to collect many souvenirs from places you've been? I've sometimes collected fridge magnets and postcards.
